So much for the Holy ground and sanctity of the Mosque

37 people, 17 were children, died when gunmen with bombs and grenades stormed a mosque in Pakistan. Mufti Wali Rehman, second in command of the Taliban in Pakistan, took responsibility for murdering the innocents during their prayer time.

The 4 terrorists approached a mosque, hurled grenades then followed by indiscriminate firing. Meanwhile two suicide bombers entered the Mosque and blew themselves killing 35 who were offering "Jumma" prayers. Security forces personnel in the area responded immediately and 2 other terrorists were killed in exchange of fire. (see Geo TV article below)

Interior Minister Rehman Malik said explosions from at least one suicide bomber caused the roof of the building to collapse.

"They are taking revenge for the Pakistan army's successful operations in the Swat and Waziristan region," Mr Malik told the ARY television channel.

Anyone remember the attacks on the US far waging any campaign in or even near a mosque as extremists fired upon US soldiers from "Holy" ground?

It's always frustrating to hear and read of these horrors and equally find stories demonizing the troops trying to eliminate these extremists.
